Titles

Next there is the full day of filming starting at 10.30 on Saturday, I have not created such a detailed plan as much as wednesday as there is no time restraints as we are all free. I have created a list of the shots we have to film and a preferable order we would like to film them in. I am also currently working on a prop list that divides responsibility for each prop. We shall be filming in my own house. As I'm the youngest of a big family, my house has been 'lived' in like you would expect of a big family. However it is very modern and I feel looks a little too posh for the family we are trying to portray, and therefore will not let our target audience relate to the character because his life looks better then their own. In my free time between filming I have also started looking at creating the graphics for our film. We want them to look childish. As if the character himself might have created them, I suggested that we have the background then as an almost lined paper effect and we then
draw on it like they do in our influence A Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

I wanted to make the 'lined paper' colourful and not just boring black and white lines, so i went for a slightly tinted yellow colour and a purple line.
We then had to choose a font to use, and as this is a key clue to genre we wanted to make it quirky and funny to suit the film. Here are our options:

This is a font called Action Jackson, it looks hand drawn which I think is the most attractable quality to this font, as it looks probable that it could be drawn by our character.

This font looks like a 'high school' font, like the one you would find on their school logo. It is called Princeton which is probably why it looks familiar. I think this font looks good if we plan to draw over it, like graffiti however it definitely does not look like the character could have drawn it.
This font again looks like our character could have drawn it, because it has got that slightly crackly look to the edges almost like a pencil drawing.

It is now decision time, so I will let you know what I decide.
